As Gluten-Free As It Can Be
At The Bakeshoppe by The Recipe Workshop™, I’m excited to offer a small, thoughtfully developed gluten-free menu for those who prefer or require gluten-free options.
Because my kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, I describe these items as “as gluten-free as they can be.” That wording matters — and here’s exactly what it means.
What You Can Expect
Gluten-free items are:
Made using certified gluten-free flours and ingredients
Prepared with separate bowls, tools, and baking pans
Baked in small, intentional batches
Handled with care to reduce cross-contact wherever reasonably possible
These recipes are developed and tested with texture, flavour, and consistency in mind — not as an afterthought, but as recipes meant to stand on their own.
Important Kitchen Disclosure
While every effort is made to minimize cross-contact:
This is a home kitchen that also works with wheat and gluten-containing ingredients
Shared appliances, ovens, and workspaces are used
Trace amounts of gluten may be present
For this reason, these items are not suitable for individuals with celiac disease or severe gluten allergies. If your health requires a fully certified gluten-free environment, I always recommend choosing a dedicated gluten-free bakery.
Who These Items Are Best For
These bakes are well-suited for:
Those avoiding gluten by choice
Those with non-celiac gluten sensitivity
Households looking for gluten-free options alongside regular items
Customers who want variety without sacrificing flavour or comfort
Menu & Availability
The gluten-free menu will begin small and intentional, with select items available each week. As recipes are tested, refined, and well-loved, this section may grow.
Availability may vary week to week, and quantities will remain limited — just like the rest of The Bakeshoppe’s small-batch offerings.
Questions Are Always Welcome
If you’re unsure whether a gluten-free item is right for you, I’m always happy to help you decide. Clear communication matters here, and I want everyone to feel confident in their choices.
